    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position provides basic administration and support for multiple hosted and installed call center and telephony software applications throughout the organization. Assisting the director of network engineering, this position will help with troubleshooting, technology training, and new technology needs and facilitates the next level of support personnel for issues he/she cannot individually resolve.  Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

    • Problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for all computers and software within the organization. 
    • Provide support services to employees regarding software, hardware, and network services.
    • On-site support - basic computer, network, phone, & software troubleshooting.
    • Ability to follow infrastructure policies, strategies, guidelines, standards, & procedures 
    • Coordinates with supervisors to provide high-quality support for new systems, projects, and upgrades.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualified candidates will be willing to learn new programs, processes, and technology. Candidates should be positive, driven and confident individuals that will represent the company and its customers professionally at all times. Experience in customer care, sales or contact center role is a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The primary requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following:

    • Actively enrolled Sophomore or Junior level student with at least 1.5 years of completed college education
    • Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Proficiency researching and troubleshooting complex problems and errors
    • Demonstrated ability with basic networking and telephony
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Exceptional work ethic and dedication
    • Good understanding of Microsoft Products, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Basic SQL skills and familiarity with Microsoft Access
    • 1-2 years’ experience performing IT support functions is preferred
    • Attention to detail, systems processes, and organizational skills
