    In this position you will handle inbound customer service and product sales questions on behalf of Brownells.  For this role we are seeking representatives enthusiastic about firearms and firearm accessories.  This position will require the basic knowledge of guns and gun smithing tools. What avid outdoor enthusiast hasn't dreamed of a job where they get to talk about guns and gear all day? You will be responsible for professionally providing customer service by answering customers questions correctly, and efficiently. Also, you are responsible for accurately processing customers orders. The ideal candidate for this position would be interested in a full-time or part-time role. You should possess experience in the sportsman world. Knowledge of computers, data entry, phone experience, and internet experience are required.

    As an Avid Sportsman for Mass Markets you will be responsible for handling inbound customer service inquiries using state of the art contact center technology and customer experience methodology. You will be a highly trained expert on our products, technology and business processes. You will be working on behalf of one of the most recognized brands in the world. This role requires knowledge in firearms and gun-smithing tools. You will be interacting with several customers across the country to provide world class customer service, and process orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess high customer service skills for customer interactions. This means you will need to be confident, fully engaged, a team player and dedicated to bringing a positive and enthusiastic outlook to work each day. In addition to being a all-around asset to the team this entry level role will also be responsible for the following tasks.


    • Actively listen and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
    • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks
    • Process orders efficiently and accurately for customers
    • Explain and position products while interacting with customers
    • Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction
    • Provide first call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling
    • Based on business needs work in other departments
    • Work with team members (Gun Technicians, Customer Support Reps, Compliance & Finance) to resolve issues

    • High school diploma or equivalent; College Students, Interns, and recent College Graduates are welcome
    • Must have the ability to learn customer service software applications
    • Must be proficient with basic PC skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Highly reliable
    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Previous experience in retail, bartending, receptionist roles, phone jobs, sales, purchasing, hospitality, customer service, food service, or office/administrative roles is a plus, but not required since we train all new employees for the job.
