POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior SQL Database Developer will be responsible for the development of database schemas, creation of stored procedures and other processes that utilize SSIS and other ETL.  Candidates should have strength in MS SQL / Transact SQL, SSIS.  Basic knowledge of scripting, C# to support simple script tasks inside SSIS but experience with C# is a plus.  Ability to create a workflow and apply to data processing solutions is also required. This fulltime position will report to the Senior Management Team.

This is a full-time salaried position. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Senior SQL Database Developer you play a critical role in ensuring our employees and clients have the right data in hand to make decisions. You are responsible for ensuring stability and performance of production systems by pro-actively identifying, and responding to system vulnerabilities and defects. Below are a few key responsibilities.  

  • Develop and manage SQL reports for multiple contact center clients and divisions
  • Work with account managers and client contacts to fulfill reporting requirements and identify opportunities to improve
  • Manage multiple point of data integration to ensure all systems and information required to produce reporting is in place
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve data collection, report cosmetics and report graphical presentation

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong foundation in MS SQL development and etl.
  • Basic understanding of C# as it applies to SSIS.
  • Experience with service technologies such as XML and Web Services is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in Microsoft SQL tools MSRS and SSIS.
  • Confer with staff, users, other departments, and management to establish requirements for creating a new system/report or revising existing systems/reports
  • Knowledge of project management and development methodologies desired.
  • Strong team player that will promote teamwork and excellent communications.
  • Enjoy project-based work and be capable of multi-tasking several projects at once, delivering them on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are also required, since client interactions will be required from time-to-time
  • Familiarity with .NET, or API Development is a plus
